Abstract
Life is filled with many repetitive tasks. However, with the advancement in the technological field, robots are able to perform those tasks and they can help to ease an overarching burden and assist or even replace humans to do those tasks. Having multiple robots will make it even more helpful because this will enhance the performance by finishing the same task in less time. The aim of this paper is to study cooperation among robots to achieve a certain task. Since recycling is a promising area for robotics, two automated garbage collector robots are built to achieve this aim. They will be able to communicate with each other in order to help in cleaning a specified area together and achieve faster and better performance. Each robot achieved this task by scanning the area, locating the garbage, picking up the garbage, and putting it in the basket while avoiding obstacles. This paper discusses the results of four proposed scenarios that are done in order to study the effect of cooperation and communication among multiple robots.
