Abstract

The original version of this article unfortunately contained a mistakes in all Arabic qoutes. The corrected Arabic qoutes are shown below. Arabic qoutes under Introduction section should be corrected as follows. In the opening section of one of the most tragic literary prison memoirs, al-Qawqaʿa:YawmiyyātMutalaṣṣiṣ (The Shell: the Diaries of a Secret Observer), Muṣṭafa Khalīfa describes his first moment in prison.
