Abstract
The private sector is commonly perceived as a structured and rigid organization. Nevertheless, there is a pressing need for the sector to enhance the quality of its services to address community issues effectively. This study seeks to build a structural model for sustainable environment training and knowledge transfer in the context of private Kuwaiti organizations. The research discovered that the private sector in Kuwait is frequently perceived as a formal and hierarchical organization and, as a result, must improve the quality of its work to successfully solve community issues. Survey questionnaires were distributed to private workers in various departments/divisions of private organizations to investigate this topic. The SmartPLS software was used to evaluate the quality of the study instrument and test the hypotheses. The structural equation modeling test results indicated that sustainable environment training positively impacted knowledge transfer. In addition to that, the study found that the effect of training on knowledge transfer was mediated by how much people wanted to learn. The outcomes of this study have practical significance for practitioners in private Kuwaiti organizations. By understanding the different perspectives on motivation to learn, organizations can design a training program that increases employee motivation to succeed and aligns with organizational strategies and goals in the era of global competition and organizational sustainability. Furthermore, the findings of this study may also have broader implications beyond Kuwait for private-sector organizations seeking to enhance their sustainability practices and improve knowledge transfer among employees. The presented insights can be used to plan and implement effective training programs that raise employee motivation and improve organizational performance. This study examines the significance of sustainable environment training and knowledge transfer in private Kuwaiti organizations. It provides insights into the role of motivation to learn in this context. Hopefully, this research will contribute to developing effective training programs that will strengthen private workers’ skills and knowledge, allowing them to address community issues more effectively.
